We are very proud of our award winning Orangery Restaurant, the food is really something special. Many of our guests express genuine surprise and admiration for the quality of the preparation, the flavours and presentation which creates a really special dining experience in such a wonderful setting.  We feel very strongly about the quality and provenance of the ingredients we source from local Peak District businesses wherever we can.

This philosophy has gone a long way towards us being awarded the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark for our commitment to the Peak District and the environment in general.

Dinner

We offer a daily changing a-la-carte Dinner Menu, with a selection of 6 delicious options for each course including vegetarian options. Our guests who are staying a number of nights find this format really interesting and despite the menu being relatively short rarely do our guests find their selection an easy one with such varied dishes. If you have any special requests or dietary requirements please contact us and we will do our utmost to oblige.

A Great Location for A Peak District Lunch

The Orangery Restaurant must be one of the finest locations to enjoy a beautiful Peak District Lunch experience. With panoramic views on three sides the restaurant has a breathtaking location. We offer a daily changing menu with 3 courses for £21.00 and Sunday Lunch including a Local Roast and additional vegetables £24.50 per head - an amazing time of the day to experience the fantastic view.

A Taste of Losehill 7 Course Menu

We have recently introduced the Losehill Taster Menu to offer our Chefs the opportunity to create a really wonderful menu, comprising 7 Courses this menu is - Just £45 per head or a £10 supplement if you have booked a dinner inclusive rate at the hotel. A great way to relax and enjoy a real celebration of Peak District cuisine - to be taken by the whole party to a maximum of 12 people.

Spa lunches, sandwiches and cream tea

To complement our Spa and pool facilities, we also offer light healthy lunches (2 or 3 courses), sandwiches and a cream tea is available either in the lounge or whilst admiring the view on the terrace for both our residents and guests.

During the week how about a Bespoke Spa Day - use of the Spa and a light lunch for only £35.00.

Private dining

Small groups of up to 12 guests can be seated in our lovely private dining room with its original Arts & Craft period fireplace and wonderful bay window.

To complement your meal we have a good choice of wines available in addition to a comprehensive selection of spirits and liquors.

Lounge and Bar

After visiting a few local historic attractions or a good walk, why not relax in the Hotels sumptuous lounge and bar, or on the terrace for pre-dinner drinks and take in the spectacular uninterrupted views of the Peak District National Park. We serve the celebrated Thornbridge Beer on tap which is brewed in Bakewell, we also offer draft Becks and Magners along with a range of bottled beers, spirits and a nice malt whisky selection.

Dinner from 7pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30 to 9.30 on Friday to Sunday.
