Chatsworth House are also spreading the Christmas cheer with numerous events, kicking off the countdown with their annual Christmas Market from the 15th Nov - 3rd December. Castleton Christmas Lights
Enlighten your eyes to the twinkling trees of Castleton as you wander through the towns of the Peak District. Enjoy a guided tour and follow the route that goes up to Mam Tor, along the Great Ridge and Lose Hill to then drop into Hope where you can stop to enjoy the small shops and cafes.
Matlock Victorian Christmas Market
From the 6th-8th December encounter a Christmas market with a twist, step back in time to the Matlock Victorian Christmas Market. With around 200 stalls in two large marquees, great gifts, and a host of other activities including Santa’s grotto, plus a magnificent lights switch-on and fireworks display finale on Sunday.
Bakewell Christmas Market
