Ceremony & Reception Options
The beauty of Losehill House extends beyond its stunning exteriors; the interiors are equally impressive with multiple options for your reception. Each of our options for wedding receptions is licensed to hold ceremonies and provides the perfect canvas to add your own stylish touches, personalised to your taste, so your special day can be everything you want it to be, and more.
The Orangery
Our Orangery Restaurant offers an elegant indoor space with panoramic views of the Vale of Edale. With large windows and plenty of space, catering for around 80 guests, it’s perfect for a naturally light and airy atmosphere for celebrating with those you hold close.
The Orangery would be offered as part of our ‘Exclusive Use Wedding Package’. With this package, you and your guests will have exclusive use of the hotel, spa, and luxury bedrooms.
The Moorgate Suite
The Moorgate Suite is a cosier, more intimate setting, ideal for wedding parties of up to 40 guests. This venue is perfect for those looking to celebrate their wedding day with their nearest and dearest.
The Moorgate Suite is offered as part of our ‘Non Exclusive Wedding Package’, which gives you access to hold your civil ceremony and wedding breakfast in either of our private function rooms (the Moorgate Suite, or the Private Dining Room for up to 10 guests).
A Marquee Wedding
For couples seeking a larger celebration (typically up to 120 guests), and exclusive use of the hotel, a Marquee Wedding may be the perfect fit. We can recommend suppliers for your Marquee, or you can choose your own preferred Marquee supplier. With ample space for dining, dancing, and stunning natural scenery, a marquee wedding promises a truly unforgettable experience.
Please note: To be able to hire a marquee, couples must opt for our ‘exclusive use wedding package’.
Last but not least, you’ll find the gorgeous gazebo situated on our croquet lawn, with the rolling hills of the Peaks as a picturesque backdrop. This can be used by all couples for any of our wedding packages (weather permitting, of course). The gazebo allows couples to have an immersive ceremony, reception drinks and photographs, in the heart of the Derbyshire landscape, then return to their chosen reception venue afterwards, for a delightful Wedding Breakfast.
Dining Experience
Not only does Losehill House Hotel offer beautiful venues that go above and beyond to make your day magical, we also offer rosette award-winning dining from the Orangery Grafene Restaurant.
Our wedding menus are thoughtfully crafted by our in-house Kitchen Team, featuring dishes that are made using local Peak District suppliers and their produce. Couples can also enquire about our premium menu upgrades if they’re wanting to add something extra special to the dining experience on their wedding day.
Wedding Packages
We’ve briefly mentioned this before, but all these wonderful amenities come as part of our wedding packages, designed to make your day as seamless as possible. At Losehill House Hotel, we essentially offer two wedding packages, with the opportunity to upgrade certain elements, creating a day bespoke to you.
Exclusive Use Wedding Package
This features exclusive use of our whole hotel for only you and your guests, including 22 luxury en-suite bedrooms, the Orangery, and the rest of the grounds for a minimum of 70 guests. The exclusive use package also includes arrival drinks, canapés, three-course wedding breakfast, coffee and petit fours, wine, toast drinks, and an evening buffet.
Non-Exclusive Wedding Package
Ideal for smaller parties, this package offers you and your guests use of the Moorgate Suite or Private Dining Room - with the option to supplement your special day, with overnight accommodation, subject to availability. This package also includes reception drinks, three-course wedding breakfast, coffee and petit fours, wine, and toast drinks.
